Earthquakes happen often but everyone is wondering how are earthquakes made?Earthquakes can go up to a lot of levels, levels are levels of distruction. Earthquakes caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves that make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. They don't slide smoothly, the rocks catch up on each other. A lot of earthquakes occur a lot on the country Chile. They see buildings shaking and sometimes they fall. Their was a big one at Mexico which a lot of buildings fell and a lot of people were under those buildings.
What to do to survive an earthquake
One thing is if you are at school or at home and you feel shaking. The first thing to do is to find some shelter under something and hold on to it tight until it stops. If you feel a big one run as fast as you can out of the place where you are. People always get under a table for cover from things falling from the ceiling.
